Ingredients
- 1 block Fior di Vita feta cheese (cut into 4 pieces)
- 1 package filo dough (about 12 sheets)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme (chopped)
- 1 tbsp honey (for drizzling)
- Olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Lay out one sheet of filo dough and brush it lightly with melted butter. Sprinkle a pinch of fresh thyme over the butter.
- Place a piece of feta cheese at one end of the filo sheet.
- Fold the sides of the filo sheet over the feta, then roll it up tightly to form a parcel.
- Repeat with the remaining filo sheets and feta pieces.
- Place the filo parcels on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with a little more melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the filo is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey before serving.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
