Ingredients

  • 60g warm water
  • 120g lukewarm milk
  • 7g instant dry yeast
  • 20ml Golden Drop olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 275g flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100g Fior di Vita shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add milk, water, olive oil, dry yeast, sugar, and whisk everything together.
  2. Incorporate flour little by little, add salt, and knead for about 5 minutes.
  3. Cover with a clean towel and proof for 1 hour.
  4. Divide your dough into 4 pieces.
  5. Roll out each piece into a flat disk, fill it with mozzarella, and close it into a ball.
  6. With a rolling pin, gently flatten each ball into a disk and set aside.
  7. Cook your cheesy focaccias in a pan over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes each side (make sure you cover your pan with a lid for the best result).
